Dr. the Hon. Linford A. Pierson, OBE, JP.
PhD (Educ. Psychol.),  Doctor of Public Service (h.c.), LL.M, MBA, MAPPC, FCCA is a resident of the Cayman Islands. He has a PhD in Educational Psychology; Doctor of Public Service (honoris causa), Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law (LLM); Master of Business Administration (MBA); Master of Arts in Pastoral Psychology and Counselling (MAPPC); and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). After serving for 16 years in the Cayman Islands Civil Service, he held political office for a further 16 plus years, including as a Minister of Cabinet, and Speaker of Parliament. The Cayman Islands Government named the "Linford Pierson Highway" after him and bestowed on him the honorific "the Honourable" in perpetuity. He was awarded the OBE by HRH Queen Elizabeth II; he was awarded a Doctor of Public Service (honoris causa) from his Alma Mater, Northern Caribbean University. He is a Past President and Past Assistant District Governor of Rotary District 7020.
